Guar Meal: A Sustainable Choice for Quality Nutrition

Guar meal is derived from the seeds of the guar plant, Cyamopsis tetragonolobus, a member of the legume family predominantly cultivated in India and Pakistan.

Production Process:

The process begins with thoroughly cleaning the guar seeds. Once cleaned, the seeds are heated in a rotary furnace to soften their outer hull, making it easier to break down. The heated seeds are then passed through dehuskers, which separate them into three components: splits, broken splits, and raw meal.

To ensure quality, the toasted meal is inspected hourly by the control laboratory to confirm that the toasting process is consistent and effective. After completion, the meal is carefully packed in polypropylene, jute, or jumbo bags, tailored to the buyer’s specifications, and stored securely for shipment.
